Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Personalised Song Gifts. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them first. Questions? Email hello@personalisedsonggifts.com.

The service

We create an AI-personalised song from the details you provide and deliver it as a digital reveal page and an MP3 download. You can hear a free preview before you buy. The price shown at checkout (from £14.99) covers the full song, the reveal page and the MP3.

Ordering & payment

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout, in your local currency where available. Your order is confirmed once payment is taken, and we email you the link to your song.

Cancelling an order

Each song is created uniquely to your specifications, so it's a bespoke, clearly personalised product. For that reason — and because you hear a full free preview before you decide to buy — the standard 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply once your song has been created. This does not affect your statutory rights (see below).

Refunds & your statutory rights

Because your song is uniquely made for you and you preview it free before paying, purchases are generally non-refundable once the song has been created. However, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 your song must match its description and be of satisfactory quality — so if something has genuinely gone wrong with your order, contact us and we'll regenerate it or refund you as appropriate. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Your song & how you can use it

Your song is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use as a gift — to play, keep and share privately. You keep the personal details and memories you provide. You may not resell your song, use it commercially, or present it as an original composition. Songs are AI-generated, so similar-sounding results may exist and we can't guarantee your song is unique or exclusive. Song generation is provided through our third-party AI music engine and is also subject to its terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, infringes anyone's rights, or names real recording artists, bands or brands. We may decline, edit or remove any request that breaches these terms, and refuse or withdraw service.

AI-generated content

Your song and its vocals are generated by AI. Results vary, the voices are synthetic, and the free preview is there so you can decide before you buy. We create your song on a best-efforts basis.

If something goes wrong

If a generation fails or you're not happy with a preview, you can regenerate or tweak it before you pay, or contact us for help at hello@personalisedsonggifts.com.

Our liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law — including your statutory rights.

Age

You must be 18 or over to place an order.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version shown when you order applies, and the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
